Ron Suskind is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, bestselling author, and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker known for his definitive works on four U.S Presidencies. His books include Confidence Men, The One Percent Doctrine, and Life, Animated, later adapted into an Oscar-nominated film. He lectures at Harvard and is the founder of Sourcebase.ai.
Chad Smith is President and CEO of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Formerly CEO of the LA Philharmonic, he is known for groundbreaking arts programming, major educational initiatives, and redefining the role of the modern orchestra. He is committed to expanding the BSO's artistic excellence, community engagement, and humanities-centered mission.
Caroline Bruzelius is the Anne M. Cogan Professor Emerita at Duke University and a leading scholar of Gothic architecture. A member of the American Philosophical Society and American Academy of Arts and Sciences, she has authored major works on medieval architecture and is currently writing The Cathedral and the City.
Kate Feiffer is a writer, artist, and illustrator, author of 11 beloved children's books and the 2024 novel Morning Pages. Her drawings have appeared in numerous groups and solo shows on Martha's Vineyard and beyond.
Joyce Kulhawik is an Emmy Award-winning arts and entertainment critic, longtime WBZ-TV anchor, and three-time cancer survivor. She has covered major arts events nationwide, serves as President of the Boston Theater Critics Association, and appears on GBH's The Culture Show.
Virginia Pye is the author of four award-winning books, including River of Dust and The Literary Undoing of Victoria Swann. Her essays appear in major publications such as The New York Times and LitHub. She holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence and is a Fiction Editor at Pangyrus.
Dr. Emelie Gevalt is Director, Chief Curator, and Program Director of the American Folk Art Museum. Her work examines early American material culture, with a current focus on girls' education and artistic expression specifically exploring schoolgirl art as a lens into identity, place, and cultural formation.
James K. Sebenius is the Gordon Donaldson Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and Director of the Harvard Negotiation Project at Harvard Law School. He specializes in advising global leaders on complex negotiations and teaches advanced negotiation to executives worldwide.
