Beth Mendelson is the Senior Executive Producer of Special Programming and Documentaries at Voice of America. Beth’s communication career spans 30 years across the U.S. Government. She has been an Executive Producer for major American and European networks, including PBS, CNN, ITN, ARD, and MSNBC. Her work has taken her to Russia, China, France, England, and numerous other countries.
Michael Kirk, a renowned documentary filmmaker, has created over 200 national TV programs. A Nieman Fellow at Harvard, he was FRONTLINE's original senior producer (1983-1987) and later founded the Kirk Documentary Group. Kirk has won numerous awards, including Peabodys and Emmys, and has produced over 100 hours of FRONTLINE content.
Susan Crawford is the John A. Reilly Clinical Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. She previously was Obama’s special assistant for science, technology, and innovation policy and co-led the FCC transition team between his and the Bush administrations. Earlier in her career Crawford was a partner at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. As an academic she teaches courses about climate adaptation and public leadership.
Josephine Sittenfeld's photographs & short films have been published in a variety of publications. Her coming-of-age documentary about a young man with autism filmed over a twelve-year span, Growing Up Ethan, ran as a New York Times Op-Doc and is touring the country as part of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery “The Outwin 2022: American Portraiture Today” traveling exhibition through September 2024.
Dr. Anne Hansen received her MD from Harvard Medical School, went to Boston Children’s Hospital for her pediatric internship and residency, then stayed in Boston for a fellowship in Newborn Medicine at a program between Children’s, Beth Israel, and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals. Dr. Hansen’s research focuses on the care of newborns with medical and surgical conditions, device development and global health.
Carol Fulp is the founder of Fulp Diversity LLC, where she collaborates with CEOs to advance diversity within their organizations, as well as the author of Success Through Diversity: Why The Most Inclusive Companies Will Win. Fulp is a graduate of the University of the State of New York. She and her husband C. Bernard Fulp, reside in Boston.
William P. Alford is a scholar of Chinese law and legal history at Harvard Law School. Alford is also the founding Chair of the Harvard Law School Project on Disability which provides pro bono services on issues of disability in China, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Vietnam and several other nations. Professor Alford is a graduate of Amherst College, University of Cambridge, Yale University and Harvard Law School.
Professor Michael Ashley Stein, an expert in disability law, co-founded Harvard's Project on Disability and has been a Visiting Professor there since 2005. He contributed to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, consults globally, and has won numerous awards. Stein holds degrees from Harvard and Cambridge, and has taught at various prestigious institutions.
American author Natasha Lance Rogoff tells the remarkable story of leading a team of 400 Moscow artists to create an original version of Sesame Street. The bestselling book, MUPPETS IN MOSCOW has been widely praised and is resonating with readers as the challenges Lance-Rogoff and her team faced foreshadowed tensions experienced today in US-Russian relations. Lance Rogoff lives in Cambridge and New York City.
